Indications/Uses
Fluid & caloric replacement.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Individualized dosage. Administer by peripheral infusion.
Contraindications
Glucose-galactose malabsorption; diabetic coma.
Adverse Reactions
Febrile response, infection at the inj site, tissue necrosis, venous thrombosis or phlebitis extending from the inj site; hypernatremia.
Drug Interactions
Corticosteroids, corticotropin.
